Michele Wendling Ryan

Comedian/Writer, Shelly Ryan shares her contribution to our latest awareness campaign, in what’s best described as “witty”, “cute” and extremely heartfelt!  Her passion and enthusiasm for comedy is the foundation of “who she is”, but in this rather candid ’sketch’, Shelly brings home the “seriousness” of the disease, ovarian cancer, which has claimed the life of far too many women/girls. Giving us a retrospective view, Shelly shares information that’s crucial to her ‘being’,and combines it with a personal touch, allowing us to get a clearer picture of the real faces of this deadly disease! I thank her,and hope others will help us to continue spreading the message to the rest of the world! In honour of the late-great Gilda Radner, Shelly shares her own “Gilda moments” with her own personal tribute to some wonderful & extremely funny memories! http://shellyscomedylove.com/

Sarah Schlichter Weighknecht
We first met Sarah shortly after the launch of the Feel Teal Club in 2010.

It was then we learned of her sister’s (Lee Schlichter ) ovarian cancer diagnosis, the battle she endured, and the legacy which Sarah continues to carry on in her memory.

Lee designed beautiful clothing & in the final days of her life created a unique line of jewellery which Sarah continued to merchandise with a renewed passion & the desire to help promote awareness to the disease which claimed Lee’s life.

Lee’s Hope Jewellery signifies the special love between two sisters, and with each creation sold a portion of sales generously donated to ovarian cancer research.

We are proud to be associated with Lee’s Hope Jewellery and look forward to highlighting various pieces here at the Feel Teal Club.

Tracy Lewis, friend & former editor for Flip Side To Music magazine, is one of the Feel Teal Club’s biggest supporters!

Her loyalty to the club is greatly appreciated and we are extremely lucky to include her amongst our “friends” & pleased that she continues to spread the awareness with us!
